Spring CLE April 28th

Hamline Law Veterans CLE: From the Battlefield to Business: Helping Veterans Navigate Business Formation and Management. 

After WWII, returning veterans spurred the greatest period of economic growth in American history by starting up thousands of small businesses. Today, many incentives and protections exist to help this current generation of veterans to navigate the world of small business. The Hamline Law Veterans' Association invites lawyers, veterans, service members, and businesspeople to come and learn about the benefits of veteran owned businesses.

Session 1: Veterans and Business Formation
Session 2: Small Business Advice
Session 3: Obtaining Government Contracts

Secretary of State Mark Ritchie will give opening remarks, and speakers will include Jack Roberts of The Law Firm of Roberts & Stotzheim PPLC, John Baker of Baker Williams LLP, Rubert Stobel of SCORE MN, and Sherri Komrosky of PTAC.

The event is being held on Thursday April 28th, 3-6pm, at the Hamline University School of Law, 1536 Hewitt Avenue, Saint Paul, MN, with signs to direct guests to the Moot Court Room in the building.

2 Standard CLE Credits will be applied for. 
Cost: $25.00; free for students and guests not seeking CLE credit.

-All proceeds for this event will go towards funding the endowed scholarship for the Hamline Law School Veteran's Association.
